The following students competed in the American Legion Auxiliary Essay Contest earlier this school year: Adrienne Ballinger, Jacob King, Dakota Lutz, and Bailey McGill.
Jacob King received first place for his essay about Veteran Homelessness. Adrienne, Bailey, and Dakota all received an honorable mention. Jacob's essay will be continuing on in competition and will be submitted to the District 15 ALA in the hopes that it will continue on to the state and national level of competition.
