The Annual Music Chili Supper will be Tuesday, February 5th at 6:00 PM in they gym. Junior High and High School music students will be performing. Parents check with you children on what they have signed up to bring.

All students were given a sign up form from Miles for Smiles today. If you would like your child to visit the mobile dental clinic on March 11th, you will need to mail the sign up form to Miles for Smiles. No postage necessary.

The PTO Santa Social will be tomorrow from 9:00 to 12:00 in the cafeteria. Come see Santa and local craft vendors.

Toy Drive- Bring a toy to Thursday's game at Golden City in lieu of admission. Toys donated will be split between the two schools. This will benefit children in both communities for Christmas.

Dadeville School will be in session on January 21, as a result of our recent snow day.

Veteran Basket Supply Drive: The English I class is asking for the student body to help collect items for homeless veterans. Supplies will be collected through November 30th. K-2 Paper goods, 3-5 measuring cups/spoons and dish detergent, 6-8 laundry soap and dryer sheets, 9-12 toiletries and cleaning supplies.

Reminder. The Dadeviile book fair family night is Wednesday evening from 3:30-7:00.

Parent teacher conferences will be October 9th and 11th from 3:30 to 6:00. Elementary parents need to schedule an appointment with their child's teacher. Junior high and high school teachers will be available in their classrooms. An appointment is not required.

Junior high basketball practice for both boys and girls will be cancelled today after school due to the FFA Fish Fry being held in the gymnasium. Students will be sent home on the bus or need to be picked up once school is out today.

The FFA Fish Fry will be in the gym this evening at 6 pm due to possible rain.

The rain contingency plan for the FFA fish fry tonight is to use the gym only if necessary. So make sure to come out rain or shine!

The Friends of the FFA Fish Fry is tomorrow night at 6:00 PM on the school playground. There will be live entertainment and an auction after the meal. Cost is $7 a plate. Hope to see you there!

Dadeville Instrumental students will be performing at the Dade County First Responders Fundraiser on October 7th at 2:30pm. The fundraiser will be held at the Dadeville Community Building.

Picture Day will be September 21st. Forms have been sent home with all elementary students. Junior High and High School students may pick up a form in the office if they want to purchase photos. All students must have a photo taken for the yearbook. Pictures may also be ordered online through the Lifetouch website at mylifetouch.com.

Parents please send any boxtops you have collected to school with your child by September 21st for the October submission. They can be given to your child’s teacher.

A special thanks to the Dadeville Methodist Church for providing goodies for the school staff this week they were much appreciated. Also thanks to McGill's Gas and Grocery and the Dadeville Cafe for running specials for our teachers and staff. It is a great thing for the school to have such a supportive community!

The Dadeville PTO will host an Ice Cream Social August 21st during Open House from 6:00 - 8:00.

Several students participated in the Stockton Junior High Music Festival over the weekend. The Girls Quartet received a I rating. Members were Emily Yount, Chloe Cornelison, Lilly Cornelison, and Tori Schedler. Soloist were Emily Yount (I rating), Bailey McGill (I rating), Chloe Cornelison (I rating), and Leah Hatch (II rating).

Congratulations to Macey Sappington for winning 3rd Place in the Ozark Electric Cooperative Essay Contest.
She will attend the Cycle Leadership Conference in Jefferson City. Macey was also selected as runner up for her essay in the "Nature and Me" contest, sponsored by the Missouri Master Naturalists. We are proud of you Macey!

FCCLA STAR students competed in State Competitions Monday. All three teams were awarded a GOLD rating. Congratulations to all three teams. Macey Sappington and Lexi Lakey were awarded the top honor for the Sport Nutrition Competition and will compete at Nationals in June.

The following students placed in the Dade County Soil and Water Conservation Annual Poster Contest: Emma Sayers 3rd Place, Josh King 2nd Place, Payton Garver 3rd Place, Bryson Graham 2nd Place and Brayden Garver 2nd Place. Winners are invited to the annual dinner meeting to receive a trophy and cash prize.

Spring Picture Day is next Wednesday March 21. Picture packets for both class and individual pictures as well as athletics are being sent home with students. This date is a correction from a previous post.

Don't forget School is out of session Friday March 9 and Friday March 16.

Dadeville FCA shirts are available for purchase. Shirts cost $14 and orders are due by March 16. Please contact Mr. Becker to place an order.

Thanks to the Dadeville Baptist Church Women's Ministry Group for providing snacks for our staff during Parent Teacher Conferences. The food was excellent and very much appreciated!

Congrats to the boys basketball team who won over Hermitage in overtime. The score was 91-78. They will play Thursday at 5:30 against Fair Play in the Humansville Tournament. Way to go Bearcats!!
