GRANDPARENTS NIGHT/BOOK FAIR
Dadeville Grandparents Night will be from 5pm - 6pm on Wednesday, September 27. Grandparents will be able to visit classrooms, Title I Reading Fun in the cafeteria, and the Book Fair in the library. The Book Fair will be open after school through 6:30 PM. Hope to see you there!

Friends of the FFA will host their annual Fish Fry on Tuesday September 26th @ 6:00 p.m. on the Dadeville school playground.
Plates will be $10 each but no auction will be held this year. Donations to help with food expenses are welcome.
Come enjoy a fun evening with live music and great food!
The Senior Class will sell Chicken Strip Wraps and Sweet Tea along with typical concessions at tonight's JHBB game. Hope to see you there!
Title I Annual Fall Meeting
Join us for our Title I Annual Fall Meeting on Wednesday, September 13th at 3:30 PM in the Dadeville School Library. We welcome all parents to attend this event. You can also participate virtually. Please contact the school to RSVP for the virtual option. Thank you!
ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL SIGN-UPS: Elementary basketball sign-ups for students in Grades 1-6 will be at the Community Building tonight from 5-7pm. If your child is interested in participating, stop by and get them registered. Additionally, Springfield Cardinals tickets will be available during that time.
Dadeville JH Cheer is having a cookout and bake sale fundraiser at Hometown Nutrition today from 10am - 2pm. Menu items include: hamburgers/cheeseburgers, chips, and drinks with a free will donation bake sale. Hope to see you there!
OPEN HOUSE is from 5:30 -6:30 this evening for parents and students to meet the teachers and see their classrooms. We are excited for the school year to begin!
All Faculty, Staff, Bus Drivers and Board Members including families are invited Thursday August, 17, 2023 to the Back to School Fiesta and Dodgeball . The Fiesta will start in the school cafeteria at 6pm with Dodgeball in the gym to follow. School Board and Bus Drivers if possible, bring a dessert. Teachers and Staff bring a Mexican Dish. DADEVILLE FAMILIES: There will be a FREE food giveaway on Saturday, August 26th from 2pm - 4pm at the Dadeville School. Convoy of Hope is supplying the food and SBU students are packing the food. There will be a drive thru set up in the back of the school for pick up. The items will be distributed on a first come first serve basis as long as supplies last. There are no income guidelines. We would like to thank the Dadeville FCCLA on helping distribute the food!! A HUGE thank you to Convoy of Hope and to SBU on their donation and service to our community!
Cross Country practice today is CANCELLED. Next practice will be 8am tomorrow Thursday, August 10.
JH Cheer Practice will start on Monday, August 14th from 4:45 - 5:45 in the gym. All participants will need to have a physical on file at the school to be eligible. Contact Ms. Luetjen at the school if you have any questions.
Dadeville HS/JH XC practice will start Wednesday, August 9th at 8 am. Practice will end at 8:30 am. Students will need a physical on file at the school to be eligible to participate in practice.
Junior High Girls Basketball practice will begin Aug. 14. Practice that week will be from 6pm - 8pm except for Wednesday in which practice will be 3:30 - 5:30.
There will be a parent meeting right after practice on the 14th when Coach Roller will discuss important information. Please have a parent present.
Other important things to remember: each student needs to have a physical on file with the school before they can participate. Each student must complete 14 practices to be eligible to play in a game. There are 14 scheduled practices before the first game.
Junior High Boys Basketball practice will begin Monday, August 14. For the week of August 14-18, practices will be held from 8:00 - 10:00am. Boys will need to have a physical on file and must participate in 14 practices prior to the first game on September 1.

Dadeville Schools are thankful for the Sac River Institute for donating school supplies for all Dadeville students! Please help express our gratefulness to the Sac River Institute for their generosity as well as their time and effort gathering the supplies. We are truly blessed.
Jr. High/High School Reminder-MSHSAA change for Athletic/Activities physical requirement -
Schools will no longer carry physical forms on file. These forms should stay with the medical provider. Only a Medical Eligibility Form (MEF) and Permission/Proof of Insurance form will be filed with the school.
The two year physical form IS STILL in effect and will be for the foreseable future. There will be a grace period of more than a year for this change. If a student has a current/up to date physical on file, they ARE eligible until it expires.
The new forms are available in the school office. If you have any questions, please contact the school.
