On behalf of Dadeville school, I wanted to assure everyone that we fully intend to have in person class when school starts on August 25. We continue to work our reopening plan and will communicate details within the next couple of weeks. We look forward to seeing our students soon!!
Currently there is free produce provided by the USDA available at the school for the community. Anyone can come by and pick some up while supplies last.
Free produce from the USDA will be available for pick up at the school on Wednesday July 15. Details on time will be provided once they are made available.
Free boxes of fruit are available at the school until 2;30 from the USDA for those that can pick it up
Free milk and other goodies are available at the school today from 10:45 to noon this morning. Anyone in the area feel free to stop by and pick some up.
The USDA farms to families program is providing free gallons of milk to area families. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, you can pick up your milk today at the school from 5:00 and 7:00 PM while supplies last.
Dadeville Graduation will be Friday June 19th at 8:00 PM. There will be 15 reserved seats on the floor for each graduate's family and guest. There will be limited seating in the bleachers for the community. Please respect social distancing by sitting with the group of people you arrive with and allow space between other groups. When the ceremony concludes the gym will be evacuated promptly and a receiving line for the graduates will form outside. Thanks for your cooperation!
Attention JH and HS Girls. The 2020 Ladycat Basketball camp will be held this Thursday (June 11th) and Friday (June 12th). Thursday: HS players 5-8 pm, JH 6:30-8 pm. Friday (scrimmage): All ages 4-5:30. There is no charge to attend, and all attendees will receive a free water bottle. All interested students are encouraged to attend. NOTE: Temperatures taken before admittance. Please stay home if any symptoms of illness. Equipment is sanitized daily. No shared drinks – individual bottles will be provided or bring your own
Congratulations to Mrs.Dodson for being nominated by her colleagues as the 2020 Golden Apple Award recipient. Dadeville teachers nominate a teacher each year that shows excellence and innovation in education. Way to go Mrs.Dodson!
If your child has school textbooks or chrome books at home, please return them to the school as soon as possible. The school is open from 8:00-3:00 M-F. Failure to return school materials will result in a replacement fee.

Any student in grades 9-12 next school year that may have interest in participating in Cross Country there will be a meeting on the school playground next Wednesday June 3 from 9:00-9:30 AM

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Davin Hatch is the son of Clayton and Mandi Hatch. He moved to Dadeville in the summer of 2017 and resides in the home of his great grandparents Gerald and Shirley Goodman. His dad also lived with his Grandma and Grandpa Goodman during his high school years. Davin participated in music at school and a little time in basketball. He enjoy’s spending his spare time playing his guitar and reading. He also participates in the seminary program which is preparing him to soon serve a full-time two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. He is looking forward to serving his mission and thereafter will attend college most likely at BYU Idaho.
