
Parent teacher conferences will be October 6th and 8th from 3:30-6:00. Elementary conference appointments should be scheduled with the classroom teacher. Junior high and high school parents need to call the school to schedule an appointment. If the conference times do not work for you, feel free to email your child's teacher for a phone conference.

The 8th grade class has planted an apple tree in front of the Music Building in memory of their classmate Bode Keys.

Picture order forms went home with students today. You may order school pictures online at mylifetouch.com with code EVTNXH6VR. To order athletic pictures online use code EVTCNNQBX. Extra forms can be found in the school office.

School pictures will be September 30th. Fall sports (junior high basketball, junior high cheer, softball and cross country) will be taken Sept 30th as well. Athletes need to bring uniforms to school for pictures. Order forms will be sent home with students and posted on the app when we receive them.

FFA students will continue to sell mums through Monday September 14.

DESE has extended a program that will allow all students to receive free breakfast and lunch as of September 1, 2020. The program will continue as long as funds allow (December 31, 2020 at the latest), at which point students will return to their current lunch status. Money received for meals already paid for in September will be credited to the students lunch account. Please contact Janine at the School with any questions.

There will be basketball sign ups Saturday morning at the community building from 10:00 to noon for students grades 1-6 interested in participating in basketball leagues.

There will be a Federal Programs planning meeting on September 17 @1:30 PM in the school cafeteria. We will discussing our district's ESEA consolidated plan. Parents are welcome to attend. If you would like to attend virtually you may obtain a meeting link by contacting the school office prior to the meeting.

There will be a meeting to discuss Special Education services with parents of students who attend private schools or students that are home schooled on Friday, September 11th 2020 at 3:30 PM in the library. The Public/Private Plan can be found in Documents section.

There will be a 15 minute parent meeting for Junior High Girls basketball Thursday at 7 PM in the gym.

There will be a USDA delivery tomorrow approximately at 3:00. Please note the new delivery location the Dadeviile Baptist Church.

Reminder: We will not have Open House. Welcome videos for K-6th grade have been sent to parents and students through the school app.

Morning Drop Off Procedure:
Students arriving between 7:30 and 7:50 will be dropped off at the gym. Students dropped off after 7:50 will be at the main building. At 7:50, students will go to their classrooms. Breakfast for 2-12 will be served in classrooms between 7:50 and 8:15. Kindergarten and first grade will be served breakfast in the cafeteria at 7:55. Classes will begin at 8:20.
Please screen your child daily for fever. Keep your child home of he/she is ill.

Kindergarten and First grade parents will be able to drop their child off on the first day of school. Please line up against the building by the east door between 7:50 and 8:10. A staff member will give further instructions at the door. Please park in the main parking lot. Do not park in the bus lot to ensure safe bus unloading.

Announcement: The district will provide a mask for each student. At this point, they are not required but are recommended. The bus drivers would appreciate your child wearing a mask while on the bus for the safety of the driver and the students.
